- To accelerate virtual problem solving, decision making, and action alignment, Leland developed the GEO WebCouncil™ collaboration system. GEO WebCouncil™ has enabled leadership teams and large stakeholder groups to accelerate online collaboration and tap their Collective Intelligence.
- To catalyze collaborative innovation for Texas Instruments, Leland designed a global knowledge management system — TI Tomorrow. The system was a winner of the prestigious Computerworld Smithsonian Award, which recognizes technology innovations that produce beneficial changes for society.
PREMIER PROJECTS
- To introduce The GEO Paradigm™ leadership model, Leland produced an innovative Leadership Forum sponsored by Fortune magazine, Motorola, and General Electric. Over 1000 organizations worldwide licensed the leadership video program based on the Leadership Forum content.
- Since 2016, Leland has been a strategic advisor to World Pulse, a women-led social network that unites women and their allies from 227 countries to tell their stories, share resources, and accelerate social change. Leland has coached the CEO and facilitated strategic planning and execution utilizing GEO WebCouncil™ collaboration tools.
- Leland served as a strategic advisor to the Project on National Security Reform which was mandated by the U.S. Congress to find ways for national security entities to become more agile and efficient. Over 300 national security experts from think tanks, universities, federal agencies, law firms, and corporations were engaged and utilized GEO WebCouncil™ collaboration tools.
- Leland provided R20 – Regions of Climate Action with GEO WebCouncil™ collaboration tools and facilitation services to develop its global governance structure. R20 is a global coalition that accelerates green economy infrastructure investments. Its members includes the United Nations, Clean-Tech companies, NGO’s, Development Banks, and Academia.
- For two decades, Leland collaborated with John Mroz, CEO of EastWest Institute, on global security projects. Mroz advised more than 20 governments and received Germany’s highest award to a non-citizen for the role he played in facilitating German reunification. Leland co-authored and presented Accelerating Solutions to Global Security Threats at the Worldwide Security Conference.
- Leland’s client, Wild Well Control, was a prominent member of the group that stopped the Deep Water Horizon oil spill. Since taming a wild well 5,000 feet beneath the surface of the sea had never been done before, there were important lessons to be learned. Leland led the After Action Review with Wild Well Control leaders.
